Sunday night (yg) Every Sunday night, except on holidays and planned youth group events, our youth group meets at the church for the weekly (yg) meeting. This typically begins with icebreakers and games and features either a discussion, small groups, or lectio divinia. Elevate Elevate is a special worship service specifically designed for youth that replaces the typical (yg) meeting once a month. It is "an unforgettable worship experience in a creative, unpredictable way, leaving a lasting impact on your mind & heart". This gives our youth a chance to deepen their faith with God, and praise Him through music, prayers, and more. Retreats In the fall we go to Frost Valley YMCA camp for a weekend to take a 'retreat' from the busy schedule of life to have a fun-filled weekend that puts its focus square on God. Our spring retreat to Lake Champion involves music-filled worship and plenty of fun activities. Home Huddles Home Huddles gives our youth a chance to study the bible and discuss real-world problems in a small group setting. Each six-week huddle meets once a week at the home of one of our youth group members. |
