Singles
A well-established Singles Group for those widowed, divorced, or never married meets at the First Baptist Church each Sunday at 9:00 am in the lower level Fellowship Hall.
It's not group therapy, but a discussion group that deals with singles' issues, fosters friendships and allows a sharing of experiences. Other activities include winter movie nights, picnics, and holiday get-togethers. Coffee, cake, and bagels are served, and a $2.00 donation is requested. The Singles Group is non-denominational and ALL ARE WELCOME! For more information please call Lil (908-889-4751) or Ed (908-232-4159).
ALSO, young adult singles at First Baptist have an informal fellowship most Sundays after the morning worship service. They gather in the church lounge during the after-church reception, and select a place to go for lunch and conversation. A small group Bible study is in the planning stage. Visit some Sunday morning (10:15 am worship), and ask for Justina or Scott.
